The name Pine River Intuitive came about for a very simple reason. There are two aspects of the natural world, I have always felt a strong connection with, and that is; pine trees and rivers. It has always been such a pleasure to ask a white pine its name, or sit down by the river and somehow feel its current running inside me, as well as at my feet. I treasure these moments.

Trees are potent symbols of human growth. Their branches reach high to the sky and their roots run deep into the earth. This is a favorite poem by Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

Rivers are a symbol of the journey of life. They can be peaceful running brooks or they can be turbulent and scary rapids. Sometimes we are feeling great and everything is on track, and sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart.

The most common thing that all of nature possesses is balance. It naturally balances itself. With this same balance human beings can reach high to the sky with their intuition and creativity, whilst staying grounded with their physicality and firm sense of reality. When one is in balance it is easier to flow with grace in the river of life. Grace essentially means being able to experience the gentle waters and the turbulent ones with perspective and respect. Often times when life becomes difficult we have a hard time maintaining balance and grace is hard to come by. Sometimes we need some help accessing the parts of our spirit that would provide sustenance during rocky times. However, these times in our lives are neccesary for growth.

I have been very lucky to have had access to spirit guides who are loving and wise. They have always been of utmost help during my own turbulent times. I am told we give what we have an abundance of. It is my wish to share their wisdom with you.
